2.5.0 — August 27, 2026

• The anonymous usage report now covers the current day too — sent as a partial that the next day's report replaces — so a fresh install shows up in the stats the same day. The payload is unchanged and still identifies no one.

2.4.0 — August 26, 2026

• Helpike now runs in the background: closing the window leaves it in the menu bar (macOS) or system tray (Windows/Linux), still serving your assistants.
• On first launch it asks whether to start with your computer; the tray menu keeps the choice reversible at any time.

• macOS builds are signed and notarized with a Developer ID — no more Gatekeeper workaround to open the app.
• helpike.com gained real download buttons that pick the right installer for your system.

• macOS: the embedding runtime moved to where code signing accepts it, fixing search on fresh installs.
• The activity screen records every tool call — the full query, what each call returned and which project the assistant had open.
• Assistant sessions close only when their sidecar process is really gone.
